sweet-and-sour-pork
What you will need
Sweet and sour sauce
1/4c white vinegar
1tsp tom yum paste
1/3c tomato paste
3Tbsp brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1Tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
2Tbsp oyster sauce
1tsp sesame oil
2/3c pineapple pieces
1 1/2Tbsp cornflour
1 1/2Tbsp water
Stir-fry
1Tbsp canola oil
285g lean pork stir-fry sliced
1 med carrot, sliced
2/3c green beans, sliced
1/2 medium red onion, sliced
1c red cabbage, diced
1 medium zucchini, sliced
1 medium capsicum, sliced
Method
Sweet and sour sauce
In a saucepan add; vinegar, tom yum paste, tomato paste, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, oyster sauce, and sesame oil
Bring to the boil then reduce heat to a gentle simmer
Add pineapple pieces
Wet cornflour with water
Add cornflour paste slowly to sauce, mixing constantly until sauce has thickened
Remove from heat and reserve
Stir-fry
Heat a wok
Add canola oil to wok and sliced pork
Stir-fry pork until browned
Add all remaining vegetables to wok and stir-fry until heated through
Add sweet and sour sauce to wok
Cook until the vegetable have cooked to your liking
